A bed where dreams come true
The curved lateral bentwood element with a length of almost three meters is unique in Europe. Just as unique as the elaborate and patented technology behind it. The so-called bentwood technique. A process that makes it possible to bend wood using steam, pressure and press molds. Michael Thonet invented this technology and celebrated his breakthrough around 1850 with the famous coffee house chair.
After a 12-month development phase, countless tests and prototypes, we too can now celebrate our completion and proudly present to you the S100 bed. An ode to bentwood technology, so to speak.
