The Oop's wall lamps by Ingo Maurer enchant with their witty appearance and soft, beautiful light. A long sheet of white paper serves as a lampshade and diffuser. It is rolled loosely into the shape of a funnel and simply pinned to the wall, where it looks as if just about to unroll. The name - Oops! - suggests that it has been obtained by accident, but in fact the paper is shaped in such a way that it discreetly hides the lightsource and the wall mounting, spreading the light in the room. The collection comprises two versions: the larger wall lamp featuring a paper sheet hanging very low and spreads diffuse light and the smaller Oop's 2 which is rolled in a compact way and spreads a lateral light. The light fixtures are supplied with electricity via a long power cable and can therefore also be installed in places where there is no wall outlet. The cable also reinforces the design's casual charm. Because of their cozy light and simple, lightweight charm, the Oop's wall lights are particularly suitable for living rooms and bedrooms.
