Birdie

The Birds light collection started in 1992 with the Lucellino lights, composed of bulb equipped with small white wings and a simple wire producing the impression that they were freely flying in the room. Because the bulb is supplied with current via an integrated red cable, it does not require a socket and is visible as well as the thread. The fact that it shines contributes to the fascination exerted by the filigreed light fixtures. Moreover, all examples are unique pieces and feature singular details and individual shapes. The wings are made by hand with authentic white goose feathers and the wire supports are shapable, which enables to individually adapt the bulbs' direction and extension.
